Thanks to some generous donations by the families and friends of former patients, we will soon have a self-check in screen, so that patients with an appointment do not have to queue at reception to let us know when they have arrived!
Patients will be offered two simple methods of confirming they have arrived for their appointment. They can either enter their patient details on the check-in system screen, or use the optional innovative contactless QR code option.
Contactless check-in allows patients to scan a QR code on the check-in screen using their smartphone and then enter their details to confirm they have arrived.
This ensures patients can arrive for their appointment without touching the screen, helping to speed up the check in process and minimise the risk of cross infection.
We are very grateful for the generosity and thoughtfulness of patients, their families and to the members of the PPG who advise and assist with decisions about expenditure from our patient fund.
