Dr Benny Gilhooley has now joined the practice. He is a very experienced GP who has previously been a GP Partner, but more recently has worked as a salaried GPDr Bernard Gilhooley[continue]

Jane is a highly experienced GP with a keen interest in women’s health and we look forward to working with her.

Dr Knox is the practice lead for patients with a learning disability, cancer and palliative care. He is also the link GP with the Patient Participation Group.

Gareth has been a GP Partner since 2016. His interest is in Medical Education.

As well as seeing patients here at The Croft practice, Dr Oliver works as a a trainer of medical students in Carlisle.

Ali qualified as a doctor from Newcastle University in 2020 and loves living and working in Cumbria. She was here as a medical student and in her first year ofDr Ali Atkinson[continue]

Jen has worked as a healthcare assistant for over 20 years both in a hospital and GP setting. Among other task Jen takes blood tests, carries out EGCs and administersMrs Jen Davidson[continue]

Emma has worked at the practice since 2018. Since qualifying as a nurse in 2003, she has worked mainly in A&E with experience in medical and surgical admissions, respiratory medicineMrs Emma Smith[continue]

Nicola has worked for the Croft Surgery since July 2023. Prior to this she has experience of working in operating theatre recovery and in Yorkshire she worked in A&E, asMs Nicola Heeley[continue]

Emmie is an apprentice, and attends Carlisle College. She has worked with us since August 2024. She is a full-time staff member and works as a dispenser and in reception
