For some years we have been are pleased to offer a complementary prescription delivery service for the convenience of patients who would find it difficult to access the practice to collect their own medication.
Originally this was intended as a service only for our housebound and isolated, vulnerable patients.
This services was expanded since the pandemic and we are now delivering to over 160 patients.
We are not under any contractual obligation to provide this service and we receive no financial reimbursement for operating this service.
Organising the delivery service is putting considerable demands on providing core services in practice. Accordingly, we are reviewing this and we will be contacting patients in the new year about changes that will be made and how this will affect them.
We are not adding any new patients or addresses to our delivery schedule presently.
