We are a training practice and we may offer you an appointment with a GP registrar. These doctors are fully qualified and will have worked in several hospitals. They are completing their specialist training as a GP.
We also teach medical students and sometimes we may ask you to see the doctor or nurse with a student present. Dr Gareth Smith is a trainer of medical students. Students are working in the practice, consulting with patients on Wednesdays. Their consultations are directly supervised by Dr Smith. Patients will be advised and their consent sought if a student is scheduled to be involved in their consultation
